To My Motherland: Happy Mothers' Day

Today is Mothers' Day. The day where the world are reminded of the value of the role of the mother as the light bearer in the family. But for me, it is a day where I have to spend half of my day not with my biological mother and family but with the motherland, Philippines.

8Am-3PM will be the launching of the "Change Politics Movement." The Movement is simply an initiative that ensures that our politicians do what they have promised to the people. It is a movement where everybody in the community is empowered to initiate change and be changed by it.

Personally, it means creating a hopeful future for my children and for my future wife who'll eventually be a mother. I do this for all the mothers in the country to ensure that they may do their duty of taking care of their children, husband and the household. Not only mothers, but including the children of our motherland.

To my motherland Philippines, Happy Mothers' Day!
