*This is suppose to be my essay for the recent Aboitiz Summit application. But because of some business matters I need to take care of, I didn't have the time to finish the process. With that, I'd like to use this essay to inspire you to find your passion, your purpose by sharing my passion that drives me to wake up 4 in the morning and live a life filled with challenges. Enjoy!
My passion is like the air I breathe. It is the very thing that nourishes and sustains me in living a life filled with constant changes and challenges. It is the very thing that gives meaning to my life especially when circumstances are stacked against me and when logic tells that I’m not good enough and surrendering is a rather better alternative. Without my passion, I don’t have a future to look forward to and, ultimately, a life worth living and dying for. My mission in life is my passion. I am passionate with achieving my fullest potential and in helping others achieve theirs. I consider my hopes and dreams to be also the hopes and dreams of others. I’m passionate and I love doing so because the life I live is not only for myself but also for others. Having engraved this in my humanity, I look forward each day to learning something new, consciously experiencing people and events and constantly challenging myself to do better and motivating others to not settle for less. With my passion, I see myself being able to achieve my fullest potential and helping other rekindle that same passion I have. I am a firm believer that life is not life without adding value to the lives of others and acknowledging that drives me to be more passionate. My passion, thus, is not only about my future but also the future of the lives I’ll be touching and making a difference. My passion shapes my future in every single way.
